Hey so this week was pretty good.. We finally CRACKED down and started doing some finding.. It was all good. Here's the hip hap.

Mon- Played ball and had an FHE with the Balderez family.

Tue- We went to a far away place called Sta Fe in our area, and we contacted inactive members... Wow was that rough, they really grinded my gears. People are really inactive for a reason haha they... for lack of better words… hated us without even getting to know us. Talk about doors slammed in your face. "Hey sister _____ my name’s Elder Jo-" door slammed " Freakin lady, see you in he**, hope God shows you a video of this exact moment on judgment day.." (that's usually what I think to my self, just wanted to let you guys know that..  but hey, it happens..)
There was some fruits from getting DESTROYED in Sta Fe… this one inactive member (Cecilia) had a touching story; she was married, had a kid and was baptized. Then she had a stroke. Because of the stroke she lost her job then her husband left her for someone else, so she has no income and lives off her sister with her daughter. She’s a really sweet lady, just don't got the dough to come to church. But we are doing our best to get her there. (If I haven't already told you, people don't really have cars here. You have to take a jeepney or tricycle any where you go which is like 10 pesos or more. It's cheap.. but not for people with no money)

Wed- Normal day, hit up Sta Maria.

Thur- hit 21 months WHAAAAAAT?!?!!?!?!?!?! are you counting Elder Jones??? na but.......... kinda.  This day we buckled down and started finding in a place called San Francisco... no not the San Francisco you know... but it was good, we were able to teach a couple people on the spot and get some new investigators.

Fri- Normal day, our investigator, Edgar that is supposed to be baptized on April 11, we gave him a drop lesson and well.... dropped him, so we haven't been to see him for about a week, but we always walk past his house so he texts like a bijillion times like "Elders why haven’t you been coming to teach me??"  But we have told him a million times why-- he's not progressing. So he texts us and he's like "okay I won't go to your church anymore unless you come and teach me." So we were like, okay that's fine. We tested him and he failed, so we texted him back saying "We won't come back to you unless you can show the Lord and us that you can act for yourself on your own faith" type deal. Keep that in mind.

Sat- Had a baptism, I got to baptize, I’ll send you some pics. But this day was good. Anna Mea and Bernadette got baptized. (The sister’s investigators.)

Sun- Church was all good, We had 4 investigators come, Edgar came and I taught priesthood and like midway through my lesson (take note he's not a member so.... he doesn't really know like.. church conduct) he raises his hand and starts bawling and I’m like oh man..... I can't deal with emotional stuff... this is weird but he's like "Elders! forgive me! Elder Jones you were right! I’m sorry for this and that yaddy yaddy yadda blah blah blah" but ya he's crying and all the priesthood is like tearing up as well like comforting him.. it was a weird but cool (?) moment.
Then we taught a dude named Noel, gave him a baptismal date for April 25, hopefully all will go well. Then taught some less- active families…

But ya this week was good, we got a lot done.. Love you guys

So this week was good...... i'll just sum it up.

So we killed it in lessons and did work finding less actives, we went to Sta Maria, a barangay in out area and took the branch list of members (there's like 600 members only 120 active) and we found inactive members that haven't seen missionaries in 20 years and kinda forgot about the church... But it's always fun finding those types of people, lots of potential.
We dropped edger last night cause he's ticking me off so even though he could get baptized tomorrow if we wanted him to... He's not ready, he is just annoying, so ya we told him last night we aren't going to come back and see if he progresses without us babying him every step of the way..
Our other investigator Bro Dalao drank again... DARNET but he gave up cigerettes and coffee and what not so he's still slowly but surely giving up the devils draaaank.
   Ya that's pretty much it.

Oh ya, transfer day happened and it's still me and Elder TiaTia here in agoo 3 and 2 sister got pulled out so it's just us two and two other sisters here so we split the sisters who got pulled out area and now we have a bigger/ better area, we are just struggling with investigators... but less actives are everywhere....

Anyways love you fam, miss you guys!

So ya, nutzo butzo week this week (no idea what that means..)

Mon- Went to Baguio which was sick, saw all my mission buddies up there and ya... blew 4,000 pesos BUT! it was on suvinears, we can't always go up to baguio so I had to make my time count, there was a huge festival up there with like 283047689 people so all the lines were way long. But it was sick.

Tue- Normal day of work, we taught the Gensis family and they are like... Golden members just giving us referral after referral..

Wed- My comp had to go to San Fernando so I worked with the Elder Larson from Texas and it was all good.

Thur- Again just a normal day, contacted a ni investigator named ruby, she's legit, had 2 kids but her husband is abroad, Taught Edgar, getting ready for April 11.

Fri- This day was sick, GOT MY TRUNKY LETTER!!! which means I have to fill out stuff for travel plans and get a final x-ray, so ya that's like... a good sign. Then we Tore it up in the area than I got a call from the mission Secritary and he's like be in San Fernando by 8, your batch is going to Manilla tonight to get finger prints so i was too stoked!! So my batch in San Fernando, (Me, Fulivai, Alejandro, and Harris) and us four are way close, so we were all excited, we got on the bus at 2 in the morning, and took the 8 hour bus ride to Manilla (we were the farthest mission away) than we got our finger prints taken so that we can leave the country. But the cool thing was we saw all our MTC buddies there it was soo sick to see them.. I saw lots of people from Lone Peak one of them being Elder Armatage. But ya it was so sweet.

Sat- spent the whole day coming back from Manilla.

Sun- Went to Church, than just worked, Taught Ricardo Dalao and he's givin up drinking and is still working on his cigerettes but he's the man and has changed sooo much..

But ya the week was good, transfer week is this next week, so i'll let you know what happens.

love ya

oh ya forgot to say we got hit by an earthquake... a small one but it was cool

(Sent March 1, 2015)
So this is the hip hap family.

Mon- Just had p-Day

Tue- So today was all good, BUUUUUUTTT, in d meeting i started feeling sick, than I came home and crashed, ended up sleeping for like five hours, woke up sooo sweaty and cold, with a mean headache and I had EXPLOOOOOSIVE direah (don't know how to spell that) but I was like " I GO HOME SOON! CAN'T BE SICK... AHHHHHHHHHH I HATE IT HERE IN THE APARTMENT!!" So we ended working And i would just knock in random people doors "hey can i use your bathroom???" but It was aight, funny experience.

Wed- Felt real sick today again but we did some work, hit up the less actives and what not, the usual.

Thur- Felt sick 3rd day now so sister Balledos told me to go to the hhospital but i was ;like "NOOOOOO THE HOSPITALS SUCK HERE!!" so i didn't.
Than we taught Bro RIcardo Dalao our investigator getting baptized on april 11, his daughters the active member, tatay dalao is such a stud..... Every step of the way i've been watching him give up all his vices, drinking and smoking. All of his nieces and nephews are getting ready to get baptised as well... (k, like 2 of them) Sister Gensis's father and cousins.

Fri- Smashed our area, had a sick FHE, area's still turning around i'm just sick of the less actives man... golley wolley..

Sat- This morning we played ball (we usually play every morning but i was sick so.. ya) And Everyone (tons of people are there) are like "where have you guys been??? the Agoo team is waiting for you... And ya they were, we played with some ballers, two of the guys were like 6'4" and played in the PBA, like NBA of the phila... they were ballers but we turn our swag on, they like to practice against us and they are legit, we lost thought and like everyone watching was sad because no one likes the agoo team hah...
Like everywhere I go and elder Curtis said this too people are like "man you our are hope to beat the agoo team! when are you going to play again?" and stuff haha it's funny.

But ya week was good, I feel good now! love you fam

-Elder Jones

So we came straight from a hike to a waterfall here and emailed so i forgot my planner but i will try to remember what happened.

This week was good

I'm not gonna do the whole monday tue thing cause I forgot my planner, But we had a good week evewn though we missed two days of work because my comp was sick and zone conference. Zone Conference was good, our zone (Agoo zone) is killing it and presidents way happy about that.
We taught another good lesson to the Dalao family and a very powerful experience happened where we taught the word of wisdom (the only thing keeping them from baptism) and it was all good, they really want to get baptized and what not, we just found them through members and they have gone to church twice now, but in the prayer the kid (john Leo) who has a bap date for april 11 gave a real strong prayer and he started bawling, the spirit filled the room and it was a great experience.
Brother Edgar got interviewed by president Ramos the 1st councilor to President Balledos and He is clear to get baptized now (because he has done every sin in the book) so we gave him a date.
Funny story, we were playing basketball the other morning and this like coach/scout guy came and invited me and elder curtis to try out for like the Agoo team or somm and... yes we did think about it but than we we're like naaa we are just missionaries, doing this for fun haha..

But ya, sorry itt's short but we did get a lot done this week.

Love you all
